Equinox Sport Horses

Here at Equinox we are focusing on breeding high quality sport horses with eventing and show jumping careers in mind. We believe that these horses should not only have the bloodlines and conformation for their sport but also superb temperaments and so this is what we are striving to breed for!

Equinox is still in its youth as the stud was previously a joint venture run under a different name, however due to changes in breeding strategies things as they were went in different directions; hence 2010 was the first breeding season for us as an independant operation.

For a young stud we have a solid base in our youngstock, with 100% BEF 1st Premium graded progeny and previously standing the unfortunately now deceased young stallion Esquimaux Zed from whom we managed to get the beautiful filly ESH Vitalia to carry his line on for us!

We pride ourselves on the yard being very quiet and relaxed which is shown in the horses who all seem to settle very quickly. On site we have ample turnout and stabling and are therefore able to take in mares in the spring/summer for AI livery as well as broodmare/youngstock livery and also Futurity evaluation/prep livery. We are able to offer very competitive livery packages of all types and have at our disposal the services of the fantastic Arundel Horse Vets as out resident veterinarians. They are among this country's experts in the field of horse breeding and so we feel very lucky that they are based so close by.
